not your fault, but mine

Every second day we are facing news about racist attacks on indians by the aussies. Its sad to to know that our fellow brothers are suffering and the aus. police is not really doing anything. Sadly there have been a few deaths too, recently. The issues being the same or similar. But hold on for a second, why are we pointing fingers in the first place. Can we just turn back and look at the way indian immigrants have behaved/behave in foreign territory? In my opinion these frequent attacks, which have now taken a fatal turn, are a consequence of the way we indians have taken the privileges, given to us by other nations in their boundaries, for granted. Often i hear indians cribbing about the foreigner's "forward" way of living, how he lacks "culture", and how they think of only money and sex. These statements themselves are very controvertial and hypocritical. Any indian travelling abroad for futher education should be the last person talking about the FORWARD way of living, the fact that they accept you gracefully and treat you with utmost hospitality proves that maybe their culture is not as diverse as ours but, its them and not us that have not forgotten the basics of maintaining a culture, and the indian should again be the last person, or maybe second to the chinese who shud get offended when talking abt sex and money. Our intentions in our actions have not always been for the best for our own country. Students who study abroad decide to settle down in that country, and even after hurling all the profanities against the foreigner, they want to live the ultimate indian dream: desk job in an MNC; a caucasian wife; "impoted" car, that is enough to satisfy an indian abroad, along with an eventual green card.
These thing i feel havent gone unnoticed in the eyes of the foreigner, maybe they ignored it initially, now it has started to impact them as we are taking their jobs. Then why shouldnt we anticipate an MNS-esque behaviour, worse maybe in the latest cases that have surfaced, from their side.
The point is that to check this issue, india should up its quality of education so as to controlling the out-flow of students for further education, similar/better job opportunities should be provided. Its high time that we made India a global nation, not to be interpreted as the way it has been today, importing foreign goods, exporting raw materials, brains and labour. Try and make india a state that is progressive and able, so as to allow access to everything state of the art under its umbrella.
Then surely we'll see an end to the racist attacks
